What if we feel trapped in our life?.
When your mind and heart are truly open abundance will flow to you effortlessly and easily.
Question:
“I thought I had life figured out.
Every single morning was a gift and I couldn’t live long enough to accomplish all of the things I wanted to.
Recently I was discharged from the army because I expressed feelings that I felt like life was too long and time was at a standstill.
Of course, he diagnosed me as depressed which just isn’t the case.
I feel like I’ve lived long beyond my years and now feel very trapped in my own existence.
I’ve just become bored and feel like I’m doing the same things over and over again.
Why has my perspective on life shifted dramatically?
It’s just not who I am.”
Response:
You seem to have shifted into an inward period of self-reflection in your life.
Instead of just moving ahead with your life activity with enthusiasm, something inside is standing apart and watching and questioning the value and purpose of your actions.
It sees repetition in your life and judges it as pointless and non-productive.
That’s why you feel bored and trapped.
But this is a superficial view of one’s life.
It’s not the actions themselves that make life worthwhile, it is the motivations of kindness and love behind the actions that matter.
That open and giving state of awareness is what gives purpose to everyday activities and to our life in general.
If you focus your self-reflection to this deeper level of life, you will find a new zest for life in seeing how you can be of greater service to those around you.
