What happens when we meditate on our third eye?.
When your mind and heart are truly open abundance will flow to you effortlessly and easily.
Question:
“I have been meditating for the past 45 days.
I only concentrate on my third eye.
I do it for 30 minutes every day.
The new thing that I observed is that I have started remembering my dreams, almost all.
I have only had one or two intuitive feelings which became true later.
I also feel a tingling sensation/pain in my third eye area every time I meditate.
I would like to know, 1) Am I progressing? 2) Is this tingling feeling good? 3) What else can I experience and when? 4) Is my third eye awakened?”
Response:
I can’t speak authoritatively to your question without knowing the details of what your exact meditation practice is.
In general, the tingling in the lower center area of the forehead is considered an initial sign of progress.
But it is such a well-known symptom to practitioners that auto-suggestion can complicate the issue.
I think it’s fair to say that the Ajna chakra is not yet fully awakened.
That experience is traditionally described as a self-effulgent light of consciousness that expands individual intelligence into universal intelligence.
Having said that, I have always advocated holistic spiritual practices that develop all aspects of the mind, body, and spirit simultaneously, rather than techniques that focus on one particular spiritual ability.
The holistic approach has the advantage that it is guided by the wisdom of our higher self rather than our small self.
Our higher self knows what areas of our being need transformation, growth, or healing at what time and in what way because it is aligned with universal intelligence.
Our small self’s vision and motivation is limited to our current life circumstances and frustrations and not necessarily with a vision of our highest purpose and needs.
