What can we do to stay awake during meditation?.

What can I do to stay awake during meditation?
I do them twice a day (morning and evening) but it often happens that I fall asleep.”
Response:
The most important thing is to get more sleep at nighttime.
If you still fall asleep during meditation, don’t worry about it.
If you need to lie down and sleep, that’s fine.
Don’t try to stay awake to meditate.
Sleep during meditation is a deeper quality of sleep than you have at night, and it will help you release tensions and contractions you wouldn’t ordinarily get at otherwise.
When you awaken, sit up and finish your meditation time.
If you have already gone over, end with 2-3 minutes of meditation.
