How about you two drop the "we" and say "I" or "me" and let the rest of us speak for ourselves or make our own choices.
Dorene, we do not have to give credit to a nonexistent being. Your "Author" and "Maker" does not exist. This is not self-enlightenment "crap". It`s the truth, and self-enlightenment is what we should all strive for. We ARE the masters of our universe as we are all god. There is no "face" to seek. "God", the Christian one, does not exist. We are the Source of our own selves and everything else in the universe.
Give credit where credit is due... to the Author and the Maker, enough with the self enlightenment crap. We are not the master`s of our universe, just humble yourselves and seek His face. God IS GOD and I am not.
