Sutras.

Quote.

When your mind and heart are truly open abundance will flow to you effortlessly and easily.

Question:

I have been reading your book titled “The Spontaneous Fulfillment of Desire”. Currently, I am working with the meditation and learning the seven principles.  The exercises appear to be going well. However, I do have one question that the book does not appear to answer. With regards to the use of the sutras in each of the seven principles, is it better for them to be spoken or chanted? As you have mentioned in your book each sutra has its own unique vibration, which relates directly to one of the seven principles. To me, that seems to imply that one should use chanting. On the other hand, each sutra in the book has a pronunciation next to it at the beginning of each chapter on the principles. Since the pronunciation tells one which syllable to stress, it could be better for the sutra to be spoken. Please let me know which way you believe is best.

Response:

These sutras are tools to activate different aspects of the field of all possibilities within your consciousness. The pronunciation given in parentheses is to assist those who are not familiar with Sanskrit words; it is not meant to dissuade you from chanting or not chanting. What you want to do is say the sutras with an easy fullness of your Being, so however that comes out for you is fine.

Love,

Deepak
