Intention and God’s Will.
When your mind and heart are truly open abundance will flow to you effortlessly and easily.
Question:
I’ve been reading How to Know God, specifically the chapter on Phase 5. There is something I’m confused on. I have discovered in my life that everything goes best when I trust God, when I don’t try to get my way in anything. The Universe has a plan I can’t seem to comprehend, but it works when I get out of the way. When I follow those gut-level truths, the voice in the stillness, everything goes so much better, and I am happier. How do we balance this with co-creating with God? Do I simply intend to create God’s will?
I know that when I am aligned with the Higher Power’s will, I have much more power to create. I’m just not sure how intention comes into all of it.
Clarity would be greatly appreciated.
Response:
There is a place of consciousness deep within, where one’s individual impulse of growth is identical with the movement of the cosmos. That is the point where your desire and the will of God are the same. This state of utter stillness of the Self is simultaneously a surrendering of the ego and an act of pure creation. Whatever side of the coin you experience is a matter of your personal tendency. For you I think this state is more naturally a form of surrender, and that is perfect. You don’t need to worry about trying to create or manifest from there, is will be automatic as that field contains already contains all your intentions.
