How can we overcome resistance to forgiveness?.
When your mind and heart are truly open abundance will flow to you effortlessly and easily.
Question:
“Good evening Mr. Deepak, First of all, thank you for your inspirational lessons. I just needed your lessons as I (was) going through a very difficult time in my life.
I am 52 years old and I am finishing my master’s in nursing but it’s not easy for me since I am experiencing a lot of resistance based on the fact that I am an older black student among younger white teachers. This is not an imagination I made up. It’s something one of the teachers said to me.
Please can you tell me how to forgive anybody?
Is it possible that this is my way of paying back “Karma” because I have a strong feeling that I was here before.
Thank you so much and I hope you can help me get an answer.”
Response:
It’s easier to forgive others if you can accept that everyone is doing the best they can from their own level of awareness, just like you are.
Don’t think of the social resistance you are experiencing with getting your Master’s degree in Nursing as karmic payback.
Instead, look at it as a way of making you stronger and more confident in who you are and what you know. Because real strength and self-confidence cannot come from the approval or acceptance by others, but rather from knowing your true self and doing what you need to do right now, as best as you can.
Love,
Deepak
