How are ayurveda and non-locality connected?.
When your mind and heart are truly open abundance will flow to you effortlessly and easily.
Question:
“I am a senior in high school doing an independent research project on Ayurveda medicine.
As part of this project, I have read a variety of your books and other resources on Ayurveda.
In the process, I became greatly interested in the ideas of nonlocality and its application to mind, body, and spirit.
Is it possible to relate the ideas of Ayurveda to the concept of nonlocality in this sense?”
Response:
Ayurveda itself is based on the primacy of consciousness.
The nonlocal realm of consciousness is composed of the immaterial forces and principles of nature.
The basis of Ayurveda is that health comes from reestablishing the balance in the body from these nonmaterial, nonlocal principles that underlie it.
Pure consciousness through its self-interacting motion, gives rise to the duality of Purusha and Prakriti—silence and energy.
From there the principle of individuality emerges with its three-part nature of sattva, rajas and tamas.
That in turn gives rise to the fivefold elements of akasha, tejas, vayu, jala, and prithivi which constitute the physical universe.
Vata, pitta and kapha are all nonlocal principles associated with these elements that have their local manifestations and seats in various parts of the body.
So a proper evaluation of Ayurveda requires a thorough knowledge of the nonlocal domain of consciousness.
