Detaching from Intention.
When your mind and heart are truly open abundance will flow to you effortlessly and easily.
Question:
Dear Deepak, How does one set his/her intention, then detach from it? Aren't we supposed to "keep our eyes on the prize"? Thanks!
Response:
An intention is like a letter to the universe informing it what you want. Based on that, the universe then calculates the appropriate response based on what your soul needs at this time and place for your spiritual evolution. You have a simple intention based on your heart’s desire, and then you release it to the universe. That is the detachment part. It’s like mailing the letter. You can’t get a response to your letter if you can’t let go of it to mail it. You don’t have to worry about keeping your eyes on the prize, that is already implied with the intention. Fixating on the intention means you believe that it is ego power, not the universe that is responsible for the fulfillment of your intention, and that belief doesn’t allow Nature to bring you the perfect response to your intention.
