Desiring from the Higher Self.

Quote.

When your mind and heart are truly open abundance will flow to you effortlessly and easily.

Question:

Hi, Recently you answered one question about how one can have influence on the outcome. You wrote ” if you desire from you cosmic self, laws of nature will support you and you can have influence on outcome….” Sir, I want to know “how to desire from our cosmic self? What is cosmic self? and how to attain our cosmic self? Thank you

Response:

The cosmic self is your higher self, pure consciousness, Atman. In the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, he says that to manifest your desire, you need to master the technique of samyama. Samyama is the simultaneous coexistence of three modes of awareness: dharana, dhyana and samadhi.  Samadhi is the experience of pure awareness, or you could say cosmic self. Dharana is the ability to maintain fixity of awareness, and dhyana is the fluidity of consciousness, to move from one level of subtlety to another. So introducing a desire or intention in that silent awareness of samadhi while maintaining a faint value of focus or dharana in that state while the mind can still flow from one level to the next. This mental skill of doing these three things simultaneously is naturally developed through a silent meditation practice. Over time meditation establishes samadhi to the degree that one can have subtle intentions or desires without the silence of the cosmic self being disturbed.

Love,

Deepak
