Dealing with Criticism.
When your mind and heart are truly open abundance will flow to you effortlessly and easily.
Question:
How should one most effectively deal with opposition and criticism? I find that as I work on my own inner blocks by leading a spiritual path that this doesn’t negate that I will receive criticisms of others. In some circumstances, some can be rather judgmental and I feel the need to defend my stance. However, I’d rather just simply not be in this place of arguing as it can cause a lot of inner emotional stir. Is it really worth voicing my stance? In what circumstances is it okay and which are better left alone?
Response:
A simple rule is to not respond to personal criticisms, but correct errors of fact where the criticizer has wrong information. Remember the negative comments reflect what is in their hearts. That cannot be changed by opposing it, and if you do defend yourself against that negativity, it only tends to embroil you in that toxic emotion anyway.
