Can I use moments of non-thought to find my higher self?.
When your mind and heart are truly open abundance will flow to you effortlessly and easily.
Question:
“I am very much fascinated by spiritual talks and discussions but hardly try to put all reading and discussions into real-life implementation.
There are some reasons for that.
Throughout the day in some very small moments I feel I am not body, not thoughts I am something that I can’t put in words here.
I am thrown back to these moments whenever I read or listen about spirituality, sometimes just walking on the road looking at trees and vast blue sky, sometimes just sitting in my bedroom and listening to whatever voices come in my ears, sometimes working between busy schedule and writing complex software codes and all of a sudden I feel something and then my thoughts proceed and says what the hell I am doing here.
But why is that state just for small moments, why can’t it exceed and take over me?
I can’t explain what I really want to ask.
This has been happening to me since the last 5 -6 years.
But I can’t proceed in this and that’s why I can’t convince myself to do meditation or whatever.”
Response:
The reason those states of non-thought last for only brief moments is because your nervous system is not able to sustain that experience for longer periods of time.
By adopting a meditation program you will be systematically acculturating your physiology to that experience.
This allows the spiritual presence of your silent witness, or the higher self, to become more familiar and integrated into your life.
Meditation offers a practical way to contact and engage the organizing power of your Atman into all aspects of daily living.
