Ask Deepak

Are there certain careers that are not right for us?.

Quote.

When your mind and heart are truly open abundance will flow to you effortlessly and easily.

Question:

Are there certain career paths in life not “right” for you?

Does the Universe present you with what you should do, or the path most in harmony with your life?

Or is it up to your own will and desire as to what you do with your life?

I’m in my early 20s and I seem to have some indecision about what to pursue.

My range of interests is very wide and I can’t seem to pinpoint what I actually want to do.

Response:

The “right” life path will always be the activity that supports your growth of self-realization.

Depending on your unique history, talents, strengths, and weaknesses, that may lead you to one lifelong vocation, or more likely, through many different career paths at different times of life according to what is most supportive of your spiritual evolution.

The ego mind is not necessarily your best guide in finding and following your life path.

In time, you will find it more reliable to trust your intuition, your passions, and your desires.

What Joseph Campbell advised as “following your bliss.”

Even if you have a wide range of talents and interests, pay close attention to what you feel like pursuing right now and do that.

One step will follow another and before you know it you are following your life path.

Love,

Deepak
